The Hilleberg Enan is modeled after their ever-popular Akto solo tent, renowned for its strength and light weight. Built with Hilleberg's lightest Kerlon fabric, the Enan provides plenty of living space for one person, without weighing you down. Mesh panels at the head, foot, and door allow for plenty of airflow, making the Enan a great choice for summer backpacking or cycling trips.
Following the construction of the Akto, the Enan is built with a single pole design and single-ended full pole sleeve system. The Enan uses lighter fabrics than the Akto: 10 denier Kerlon 1000 outer tent fabric specifically designed for the Enan. Additionally, Hilleberg engineers found that the strength of 9mm DAC NSL poles, also used by the Akto, outweighs the negligible weight loss of 8mm poles with similar manufacturing.
